This Winter, Dance Migration presents an exclusive Advanced Training program led by Taylor Hunt. She is a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in Toronto. With over 20 years of dance experience, she began training at a young age and later completed her post-secondary studies in Performance Dance. Her background includes extensive training in jazz, ballet, tap, contemporary, technique, and acrobatics, making her a highly versatile and well-rounded artist.

Throughout her career, Taylor has trained with renowned choreographers across North America, continually expanding her artistic and technical range. She has performed in a wide variety of productions, stage shows, and artistic projects, including contemporary works and samba/jazz/latin-fusion performances.

In addition to her performance career, Taylor works as a choreographer and adjudicator, bringing a sharp artistic eye and strong technical foundation to her teaching. She is known for her thoughtful instruction, musicality, creative approach, and her ability to guide dancers from beginner to advanced levels with clarity and care.

Taylor brings to Dance Migration a rich blend of technique, artistry, and expressive power — and she is deeply passionate about helping dancers grow, explore, and expand their movement vocabulary.

KEY DETAILS:

Instructor Absence
If the instructor has to miss a class due to health reasons or any unexpected situation, a make-up class will be scheduled by the instructor.

Student Absence
If a student misses a class, we kindly ask that they inform the instructor, but we do not offer make-up classes, refunds, or transfers of that class credit to another course.

Medical Absence (with Doctor’s Note)
If a student is unable to attend a class due to medical reasons, a valid doctor’s note must be submitted within 48 hours after the missed class.

Upon receipt and approval of the medical note, the student will be entitled to one make-up class, which must be scheduled within 30 days, subject to availability and instructor approval.

Medical notes submitted after this period will not be accepted, and the missed class will be forfeited.
