WHO IS TATI ROSA?

Born and raised in Rocinha, Rio de Janeiro, Tati Rosa is a samba dancer, choreographer and instructor whose relationship with dance began at a young age.

She has represented Rio Carnival as a Muse of Imperatriz Leopoldinense, served as Rainha de Bateria of Acadêmicos da Rocinha, and has shared samba through performances and workshops in Brazil and internationally.

Her teaching brings together technique, musicality, performance experience and the cultural environment in which her samba was formed.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Throughout the series, Tati will explore details that can transform the way your samba feels, looks and responds to the music.

You will work with elements such as:

• Technique and weight transfer

• Coordination and movement quality

• Control and ease

• Musicality and interpretation

• Expression and personal style

This is not simply about collecting more steps.

It is about developing a samba that feels more natural, musical, confident and uniquely yours.
